Lucinda Sanderson, who writes our monthly Info To Go columns, won a Gold medal for her first solo exhibit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show last week.

Lucinda, whose work titled “Panache”, appeared in the Floral Design tent at the flower show, was sponsored by Reineri and used flowers supplied by the company including phalaenopsis and vanda orchids, two new breeds of peonies, Magic Pepita spray roses, Black Love mini anthurium and Jip and Rothschildiana gloriosa.  The structure was made of willow.

Commenting on her medal, Lucinda said: “It is an incredible joy working with beautiful flowers and to be rewarded also for the design is a tremendous honour. I'm ecstatic!”
