David Denyer’s installation “A Sense of Perspective”, designed for Interflora, won the Gold medal at Chelsea.
The seven metre by three metre display, consisting of a series of nine doorways arranged in a gentle arc – each adorned with a selection of different flowers – was a real sight to behold in the Great Pavilion. The worthy Gold medal-winner was both starkly different to and completely at home among the other stands and displays.
Speaking about adding another Gold to his already overflowing awards cabinet, David said: “It’s fantastic to win another Gold. It’s good for me personally and it’s also great for Interflora.”
