The BFA Skills Academy will put on two evenings in June designed to help florists take crucial steps to grow their businesses.
A recent survey by the BFA of its members highlighted the overwhelming need felt by florists for more help with their marketing and websites. In response to their requests, the BFA launched the Skills Academy last October at FleurEx, designed to give specific help to florists looking to increase sales, get more customers and make more profits, both through offline and online marketing.
Following a run of successful workshops last year, June will see two evening seminars in branches of Country Baskets to give florists ideas they can easily implement to make a difference in their businesses.
Hosted by the BFA, but with expert presentations from Tim Teasel of FloristPro, Paul Drabble of BSG Consulting and Marianne Cowdery from World Wide Florist Marketing, the evenings will be full of inspiration and motivation as the tutors talk about the things that really matter to florist owners. Attendees will discover how to get more customers, how to keep customers returning, and how to market their businesses in a consistent way.
This two hour interactive seminars will be held on 7 June at Country Baskets in Birmingham and 8 June at Country Baskets Loughborough.
Please visit www.britishfloristassociation.org for more details and to register for your place or call the BFA on 0844 8007299. Space is limited, and is on a first come first serve basis. The cost of £15 plus VAT per head includes a buffet. The events run from 6pm to 8.30pm.
