Santander Business Banking has launched a business current account designed exclusively for “Affinity” customers. This is Santander’s first such account, replacing the previous offering from Alliance & Leicester and is available, with preferential benefits, to the members of the BFA.
Affinity customers can benefit from free day-to-day banking transactions (within certain transactional limits), a reduced excess cash deposit charge of £0.45 for every £100 and account access via telephone, Post Office and Santander’s cash machine network. The account is available for businesses with a turnover of up to £1m.
Association members can open the Santander Business Current Account over the phone via a business advisor by calling 0800 068 6698. Santander also offers a no-hassle switching service. Santander will transfer all the mandates and regular payments from the old account and will also match any overdraft that is in place (depending on circumstances).
