With fresh ideas, a host of new exhibitors and a sea of new products, the decorations industry will launch the new trading season at Christmasworld from 28 January to 1 February 2011.
Christmasworld is the leading international trade fair for festive decorations. At no other fair in the world can decorators, designers, specialist retailers and wholesalers find a comparable range of products. Jutta Baumann, Christmasworld director, said: “Once again, we are expecting around 1,000 national and international exhibitors to attend. Key industry players and many new exhibitors are already on board.”
Two halls will focus on florists’ needs. The bowl, plant pot and silk flower ranges in Hall 9.0. are new. Silk-Ka, Ptmd Collection, Il Rustico Trend, Star Home Décor and others will be presenting their collections here. This area features a marketplace, including products from Belgian exhibitors such as Belgoflor, D&M Depot, Goodwill, Louis Maes International and Pomax. Here, the fair experience will be sweetened by authentic Belgian waffles.
InHall 8.0, there will be ribbons, packaging, candles and fragrances. Exhibitors presenting new products will include Bolsius, Gebr. Steinhart, Gies Kerzen, Bonturi, Botanic Haus, DPI, Edelmann, Heembloemex, Kaemingk, Kaheku and Sandra Rich. A host of first-time exhibitors will be breathing new life into this area, for example: collections by Drahtwerk Strack, Duif’s Florists Articles, Nastrificio de Bernardi, Paramit and Wackx.
Easter, birthdays, New Year – every year brings with it a host of celebrations which demand atmospheric decorations. The portfolios of exhibitors in Hall 9.2 include the perfect products for these occasions. These exhibitors will be presenting decorations for annual and seasonal festivities and decorative gifts. Their collections will feature Easter bunnies, eggs and chicks and Halloween pumpkins, witches and spiders. Visitors will find small presents and gifts at suppliers such as Boltze, Casablanca, Fink, IHR, Gilde Handwerk, Gisela Graham, Hoff Interieur, Räder and Wurm. New exhibitors will include Aras Metal, Big Decs and Donkey Products.
The portfolio extends into Hall 9.0, where it is supplemented by party products and festive goods. Exhibitors such as Fest Decor, Goodmark Europe and Papstar will feature paper streamers, serviettes, festoons and paper plates in their ranges.
An impressive sea of lights awaits trade visitors in Hall 11.0. Light-up reindeer stand next to illuminated Christmas trees, abstract façade lighting elements dazzle next to original fairy lights for the home. Suppliers such as Best Season, Blachère Illumination, Fotodiastasi, Konstsmide, MK Illumination and Sirius will be showing lighting trends. First-time exhibitors will include Ido, S.O.S and Seasons Decorations.
Shop and display suppliers will be exhibiting in Hall 11.0. Companies such as Creation Group, Mag, Michel Taillis Creation and P.P.H.U. Adal will be showing their innovations in shop window and store design. Their product range extends from traditional shop window mannequins, promotional aids and display modules, to foils, décor sprays and high-tech seasonal scenery.
