The UK Floristry Judges Guilds new judge training programme starts in November. The training incorporates training seminars and shadow judging exercises culminating in an examination in August 2011.
The intensive training seminars will cover all aspects of floristry judging and will build up and enhance judging skills and techniques. There will be practical marking sessions coupled with discussions and evaluations to prepare for the written and practical examination.
Tracy Tomlinson, chairman of the UK Floristry Judges Guild, said: "This is a unique opportunity to become part of an elite, qualified group of professional floristry judges. We welcome new judges with the necessary qualifications to join us."
The quality of the UK Judges Guild training programmes is one of the best in the world and the cost of the course can be spread over the period of training.
